Itineraries
Day 1
MOSHI TOWN – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you are met by our tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing. You will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with your picnic lunch. We will also travel through the agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park.
The town is a souvenir hunters paradise, harboring thousands souvenir salesmen – ready to pounce at your slightest invitation. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, along with a view of famous hot spring known as “Maji Moto”. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Campsite for hot shower, dinner and overnight.
Day 2
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER
Early in the morning after your breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your guide for safari briefing. You will receive an overview of the safari before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where the Ngorongoro crater is located.
Ngorongoro crater is contiguous to Lake Manyara National Park and it needs about an hour or two to reach there.
You will have all the formalities of the before descending to the crater floor with your picnic lunch.
Ngorongoro crater is famous for its different attractions which includes alkaline lakes, forest, and different vegetation, hot springs, different kinds of wildlife and birdlife and its landscape.
You will have a memorable morning game drive and full afternoon game drive before ascending to the crater rim for transfer to the lodge for a hot shower, dinner and overnight at Campsite.
Day 3
NGORONGORO CRATER – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you are met by our tour guide, who will deliver a short safari briefing. After briefing you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park with your picnic lunch.
Tarangire derived its name from the Tarangire River which crosses along the center of the park which provides permanent water for the wildlife and birdlife of the park year round.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and experience two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, along the Tarangire River. Late afternoon you will be transferred to the campsite for hot shower, dinner and overnight.
Day 4
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA/ MOSHI
After breakfast, there is a walking safari at the parks boundary with your packed lunch. You will then be driven back to Arusha, as you are having a game drive to the Tarangire National Park while exiting the park.
You will reach Arusha late afternoon for preparation to be transported to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to your destination.
